Happy Memorial Day. Is 'happy' the right thing to say??? Yes! May you have happy memories of those who gave their lives for our freedom and for those family members who have gone on before us.

The closing on our house is completed, most of our personal belongings are in storage, we are camping out (so to speak) in a small apartment, and school will be out at the end of this week. Now it is time to focus once again on stamping and digital creating. Stay tuned to this channel…err…blog… for continued coverage.

As a demonstrator, we have the privilege of preordering selected items from upcoming catalogs. I received my preorder this past week and just had to install the Fan Fair Collection DVD to see what all was on the disc. Oh my goodness…I am blown away by the beautiful designer series papers in this collection! The collection also has a punch, embellishments, and a large stamp brush set. This collection is also available in traditional format of stamps and designer series paper. You will definitely want to have this on your want list to purchase when the new catalog is active on June 1. Oh, do I like Tuesdays! This is the day that Stampin' Up! releases new digital downloads for My Digital Studio. I always get up in anticipation of seeing what cool things I can download to use in my digital designing. This week did not disappoint me. Since my husband and I are about to embark on an extended RV trip with our two dachshounds, I just HAD to get the Fifty Nifty Kit! When I saw the thumbnail in the PDF of this week's downloads, I was sorry to see that Alaska and Hawaii were not included in the thumbnail but I bought the download anyway. I was not disappointed!
