MDS Content Discs Retiring

RetiredListPromoUS

Each year, Stampin' Up! releases lists of stamps and accessories that are being retired to make room in the new catalog for exciting new product. The lists were posted today and the MDS content discs from the 2012-2013 catalog are being offered at 60% off. All items are only available as long as supply lasts so it is urgent that you go check out the lists now and place your order right away. I'd hate for you to decided you wanted something only to find out it was already gone. While you are at it, check out the other retiring items as well. There are some really neat embellishments that would be perfect for hybrid pages and cards but they will be no longer available soon! Click here to go check the lists out

10 Reasons to Love MDS

Se Ya Next Year Digital Kit
10. You can change your mind without ruining any supplies.

9.  You can see if you have a particular download by using the global search feature.

8.  You can enlarge or minimize photos within a photoframe.

7.  You can create curved text by attaching it to a shape.

6.  Your photos are already on your computer so you don't have to print them out first.

5.  You can change the size of the pattern on designer series papers.

4.  The downloads are inexpensive so you can have a large collection of stamps as     many of the stamp brush sets are the same as sets in the annual catalog, just print them out and layer on your traditional project.

3.  If the stamp brush set is a .svg file, you can change the size of the stamp to fit your needs. With a traditional stamp you have only one size available.

2.  Your studio is highly transportable and only takes up the space of your computer's footprint.

And….

1.  There is no cleaning up when you are finished working on a project!!!

Have you tried My Digital Studio yet? If not, click here to order your download. It is only $19.95 and you can start creating digitally within minutes. I'd love to help you get started.

Supplies: MDS (130646), See Ya Next Year Photobook Template (134509), Hearts & Kisses Photocard Template (129012), 1.25" Square Punch (comes with the program)

Urgent…Last Chance!

Yes…two posts in one day but this is really urgent! To make room in the new 2013-2014 Annual Catalog, Stampin' Up! is retiring lots of stamps and accessories. I do have a printed copy of the retiring stamp sets which I can send you. The list of retiring accessories is long and supplies in stock will change so quickly that the list would need to be updated daily.

Since these products are only available as long as supply lasts, it is most urgent that you go online, check out the retiring items, and place your order immediately.  I'll be happy to order for you if you email me your order but be sure to give at least two alternative choices for each item because some items will sell out very quickly. To avoid missing out, it really is best to place your order online through my online store. Click here to begin your shopping!

Hey…It’s the last day!

Playful Polka Dots
It’s the last day to get the FREE Playful Polka Dots digital download! If you have been procrastinating, go do it now! Click here! Then come back and the rest of this post.

I used Regal Rose card stock for the base of the card. A very interesting thing happened when I tried Rose Red as the background. Check out the card below and see if you see the difference besides the color of the background.

Playful Polka Dots
Yes, the white of the scalloped border looks like a lace border! All of the embellishments on this card are part of the Playful Polka Dots download. I love the cheery colors and patterns. The center of the Pumpkin Pie flower is actually a different flower I shrank in size and layered over the larger one. It was just chance that when I added the two flowers to my work space, they ended up on top of each other. I really liked the effect so kept them that way.

Several have asked how to find the various parts of a digital kit once you have downloaded it. The pieces do get filed into different places depending on what they are. Designer series paper is in a file with the dsp, embellishments are in a different file. The easiest way to see all the parts of the digital kit is to use the global search feature found in the lower left corner of your program. Just type in the name of the kit and you will find all the pieces.

Today is also Terrific Tuesday because we get wonderful new downloads on Tuesdays. Click here to see the new downloads and place your order. Come back tomorrow to see what I do with the new downloads.

Supplies:  MDS digital download (130646), 30-day Free Trial of MDS (130910)

Stamps: Thoughts and Prayers (came with original MDS disc), Playful Polka Dots Digital Kit (126027)

Happy National Jelly Bean Day!

Jelly beansYes…it seems there is a national day for just about anything! However, this is one day I can definitely relate to. I love jelly beans, especially Jelly Bellies. This past week I learned what the new 2013-2014 In Colors will be and I have to say they would make wonderful Jelly Belly flavors…Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, Strawberry Slush, and Baked Brown Sugar…yum, yum, yum! Oh yes, the fifth one is Coastal Cabana.

I'm sorry to tease you this way but you will have to wait to see what these colors look like until I can preorder them.

Until your next visit…blessings,
Sue

Swallowtail Butterfly Birthday Card

Swallowtail Butterfly digital downloadAs I was creating this card, I felt the background lacked depth so I added the Hip and Handsome Overlays -8 on the background. The Swallowtail Butterfly looks like a doily when it is colored with Whisper White and makes a great focal point for the card. I added the Happy Birthday greeting fromt the That's a Wrap Designer Kit.

Supplies:
Background

     Card Stock/Blushing Bride
Embellishments
(131329) Timeless Taffeta Trimmings – long bow whisper white (re-colored)
Stamps
(125753) Hip and Handsome Overlays – 8, Color = CAMEO CORAL
    Swallowtail, Color = WHISPER WHITE
(132190) That's a Wrap Designer Kit– happy birthday cursive, Color = black

Order the supplies needed for this card by clicking on the links or visiting my online store. You will need these downloads to follow along with the video I am sharing tomorrow on how I made this Swallowtail Butterfly card.

Ears to You Easter Card

Ears to You Quick card

Here is a quick Easter card I made using the Ears to You bunnies. I have great news for you. The single stamps have been so popular that Stampin' Up! had decided to continue to offer them until July 31! The Ears to You stamp set is one of them. Now we generally think of bunnies at Easter time but they are great for any spring type card. The background is a design from the Tea for Two Designer Series Paper. I love how these designer series papers have both large prints and small coordinating prints. The greeting is from Wacky Wishes, a hostess set. To order any of these suppies, either visit my online store or click on their linked names in the supply list below.

Happy Easter,
Sue
