Well, I used to wonder that too, but I find I use designer series papers on my cards all the time. I have discovered that using pieces of designer series paper can save me time in creating cards. For example, I needed to quickly make a birthday card for our great-granddaughter this morning before heading out to her birthday party. I chose a <strong>Very Vanilla<\/strong> card base and a piece of the polka-dotted <strong>Afternoon TPicnic Designer Series Paper<\/strong> that was cut 4&#8243; x 5 1\/4&#8243;. I layered the designer series paper on the card front then stamped the greeting on a scrap of <strong>Very Vanilla<\/strong> card stock with <strong>Coastal Cabana<\/strong> ink. I used one of the new <strong>Chalk Talk Framelits<\/strong> to cut out the greeting and mounted it on the card. Butterflies punched from <strong>Silver Glimmer paper<\/strong> were the final touch. Here is the end result. What took the most time was getting out my supplies from all the different places I have them in our travel trailer and putting them back. The card is a little bent because I took the picture after our great-granddaughter opened it. :o)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.soggystamper.com\/images\/2013\/07\/Lilys-BD-card.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-1127 aligncenter\" alt=\"Delightful Dozen Birthday Card\" src=\"http:\/\/www.soggystamper.com\/images\/2013\/07\/Lilys-BD-card-244x300.jpg\" width=\"244\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This special of buying 3 packages and getting one free only lasts the month of July. There is no limit to the number you can buy as long as you buy in multiples of 3. Buy 6 and get 2 free packages. This special does not apply to the designer series paper stacks or to the specialty papers.
