Welcome to The Soggy Stamper blog tonight. I must say…today the soggy stamper enjoyed crisp, sunny weather…and yesterday as well. What a welcome break from the cold, drizzly weather we have had since we got back to Craig. Now, onward to this card.<\/p>\n

I rarely CASE (copy and share everything) another stamper but this card by Connie Babbert appealed to me so much that I did CASE it. I didn't have Basic Gray<\/strong> card stock so I substituted Early Espresso for it. When I saw this stamp set in the new catalog, I thought I could do without it as I have lots of flower stamps already. However, I have seen some beautiful cards like Connie's andthe stamp set magically appeared on an order blank…LOL!<\/p>\n

I stamped the medium flower four times with Basic Gray<\/strong> ink on Cherry Cobbler<\/strong> card stock and the small flower once and cut them out. On two of the medium flowers, I cut part of the petals away\ufeff. Then I layered them and put a black glimmer brad<\/strong> in the center of each flower. The tag shape was stamped on Whisper White card stock<\/strong> with Early Espresso<\/strong> ink. The florish was stamped with Old Olive<\/strong> ink. This layer was adhered to an Early Espresso<\/strong> layer and then to the Cherry Cobbler<\/strong> card base.  I stamped the greeting from Itty Bitty Banners on Old Olive card stock and cut it out with the matching Itty Bitty Banners Framelit. Having a framelit to do the cutting for me is soooo nice! Having framelits to match stamp sets is the up and coming thing. Just check out all the new ones in the Holiday catalog. Finally I adhered the flowers with Stampin' Dimensionals.<\/p>\n
