Years ago, we hosted an exchange teacher from Japan for the school year. It was such a great experience for both us and him that we have stayed connected ever since. This is his Christmas card for us this year. I love how he used pieces of thin foam packing material for the leaves of the tree. That is so creative! It looks like the tree is covered with snow and some is falling down at the base of the tree. I am going to hang on the the packing material in the box he sent as I can just see this on an evergreen tree. Look for a post soon of a card I make like that.<\/p>\n

I don’t know for sure what the Kanji says but inside the card he wrote Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
