It can be quite confusing, that&#8217;s for sure! Stampin&#8217; Up! has put out a challenge to their demonstrators to create simple cards using the hashtag <strong>#simplestamping<\/strong>. Now THIS can be difficult for us because we are so used to adding embellishments and making fancy cards. Often thought simple cards can be quite elegant and stunning. Do a Pinterest search by putting &#8216;clean and simple cards&#8217; in the search box and see what you get. There is a saying &#8216;SIP&#8217; which stands for stamps, ink, and paper. That is all you really need to make a card.<\/p>\n<p>This card was created for December&#8217;s Coffee and Card event I hold at a local coffee shop each month using the <strong>Let It Ride<\/strong> stamp set. Since it is not held in my studio, the design needs to not use a lot<strong> Shaded Spruce<\/strong> cardstock for the card base and a 5 1\/4&#8243; x 4&#8243; layer of <strong>Crumb Cake<\/strong> cardstock. We stamped the horse image with Soft Suede ink, the trees with Shaded Spruce ink, and the saying with <strong>Tuxedo Black Memento<\/strong> ink.This card is a great one to send as an encouragement to someone and works equally well for a man or a woman.
