If you had come to Joy Weber's workshop on Sunday, you would have made this Christmas card. I called the technique Faux Gold Leaf. I brayered the flat side of the Holiday Frame embossing folder<\/strong> with Cherry Cobble<\/strong>r ink, placed Whisper White<\/strong> card stock in the folder and ran it through the Big Shot<\/strong>. I cut out the frame and sparingly patted it with the Versamark pad. I then embossed the frame with Gold embossing powder<\/strong>. The greeting is also embossed with Gold powder. This technique is similar to the Faux Patina technique Kelly Acheson shared recently. Tomorrow I will post the Christmas card I will be making for the school staff this year. It uses the full Faux Patina technique.<\/p>\n
