The Beautiful 2017-2019 In Colors Are Retiring Soon

Handmade greeting card created with 2017-2019 In Colors and April Paper Pumpkin Kit

The 2017-2019 In Colors are retiring June 4th. You need to order as soon as possible the ink pads and refills for these retiring colors before they sell out. These are the colors:

I created the card above by stamping the flower stamp from April’s Paper Pumpkin kit with three of the 2017-2019 Retiring In Colors and the leaves from that kit with the two other 2017-2019 Retiring In Colors. Until I created this card, I didn’t realize how well the five colors go together.

To recreate this card, randomly stamp the flower stamp from the April Paper Pumpkin Kit with the Powder Pink, Berry Burst, and Fresh Fig inks. Stamp the leaves in Lemon Lime Twist and Tranquil Tide inks on a 5″ x 3 3/4″ piece of Whisper White cardstock. Fold an 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Whisper White cardstock to create a card base. Adhere a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of berry Burst cardstock onto the card front. Then adhere the stamped piece to the cardfront. Stamp the greeting on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and cut out with the Big Shot and one of the beautiful new Stitched Nested Labels Dies. (You can’t order these dies until June 4th so substitute another label die or punch. ) Adhere to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
