Welcome to The Soggy Stamper this Monday morning. Can you believe one whole month of summer vacation is over. Wow does time fly! We leave Craig tomorrow to begin our month vacation visiting our daughters in the Seattle area, Ron's brother in Chubbuck, Idaho, and of course…the Stampin' Up! convention!

My theme today is the 4th of July so I created this card for you. It also meets a challenge over on Create with Connie and Mary. I haven't used the flag punch much but am seeing more and more samples using it. I filled the punches with different designer series paper. I used the Very Vanilla Patterns designer series paper in the circle punch to make the white circle less stark. Unfortunately, it is so subtle that you have to look really hard to see the stripes. The greeting is generated using the Felt Marker font.

May you have a happy and safe celebration of the birth of our nation. Let's each do our part to preserve our freedom and give thanks to our military personnel who often sacrifice their safety and even their lives that we may enjoy freedoms that in some countries is barely a dream.

Thanks for coming by to visit today. If you have created a 4th of July card, email it to me and I'll be happy to share it on my blog.

Until next time…blessings,
Sue Erickson
