Snow Flurry Ornament

Snow Flurry ornament

Supplies: Snowflake Flurry Bigz Die (127813), Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (113439), Floral Frames Framelits Dies (127012), Linen Thread (104199), Midnight Muse 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon (126847), Silver Glimmer Paper (124005)

Welcome to The Soggy Stamper blog this Saturday afternoon. I made this ornament a few days ago based on an ornament Kirsteen Gill shared at least a month ago. I changed out her Whisper White frame for a Midnight Muse one. I didn't use as many pieces as others have used as I was mostly experimenting with the pattern. One thing I learned is that Two-Way glue does not work for the Glimmer paper! I resorted to using glue dots but wonder if the Green-topped Multipurpose glue would have worked better. I'm thinking of making a similar one with the Maple leaf from the Autumn Accents die and the Champagne Glimmer paper. I'll post a picture of it when I do get it made.

Thanks for the comment. I used 5 of each, folded them in half and glued them like we do the Ornament Keepsakes. I didn’t try Snail on the Glimmer paper nor the cardstock frames. That would be much easier!

love the blue contrast! Did you use 3 or 4 die cuts? Did you attach them back to back? Ive found that Snail works great on the back of glimmer paper but if you want anything to stick directly to the front of glimmer paper- tombow multipurpose glue is the best!
