Time to Say Good Bye to favorites!

It's time to say goodby to the items on the retirement list

It’s time to say good bye to many of our favorite products that are on the retirement list found here. The list is longer than usual and there are several reasons for this need to say good bye to so many items.

It’s time to say good bye to products because Stampin’ Up! has to make room for new stamps, accessories, and tools in their inventory and storage areas. The company carefully considers how well each product sells as part of their decision-making when creating a new catalog. This year they also considered some ideas and concerns from demonstrators across all the markets in designing the new catalog.

One of the concerns was that the previous catalog was too heavy and mailing them was quite expensive in some markets. Therefore the new catalog has fewer pages. This means that they could show fewer products.

It’s time to say good bye to so many products for the reason that demonstrators requested larger pictures of the stamp and die sets. Stampin’ Up! heard and the images are bigger in the new catalog. Now we can see the details of the sets much more easily.

It’s time to say goodby for a third reason: the retirement list is so long because Stampin’ Up! will no longer offer clear mount and wood mount stamps. They are offering the same wonderful red rubber stamps with a super sticky label enabling them to stay on clear blocks. Many current wood mount and clear mount stamp sets will be reconfigured with the cling labels but are on the retiring list as wood mount and clear mount stamps. Come June 4th when the new catalog is live, all the stamps will either be cling mount or photopolymer. So don’t freak out when you see all the stamp sets from the 2018-2019 catalog being listed on the retirement list.

In order to not have to say good bye to those stamps and other products you have been meaning to purchase, you must buy them NOW! Stampin’ Up! makes their own stamps so they can guarantee delivery of retiring stamps up to May 24. All the other products are as long as supply lasts. Already the cutting plates for the Big Shot are out of stock and discontinued as an example. The best way to know if an item is still available is to order through my online store. While you are ordering, remember to keep track on my Customer Appreciation form. Read about that program I offer here.
